Web25 ago 2006 · The J122. I really have no idea which way they would go. Jboats has not had a success in the 40 foot Racer /Cruiser since the 120/130 designs. Those designs are rather old. In the two spring regatta's held so far the J122's have won 6 of the 8 races with the King 40 at 27 sec/mile and the 122's at 33 sec/mile. Using the endorsed IRC ratings for the boats the 122's would have taken 7 of 8.
